THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CANNABIDIOL AND DRUGS

CBD is the acronym that stands for cannabidiol. It is a natural phytocannabinoid, that is to say a plant cannabinoid, present in cultivated hemp (CBD sativa L) and CBD (Indian hemp: CBD indica). These two plants belong to the cannabaceae family. Cannabinoids are a set of chemical molecules that activate receptors located in the animal’s body. INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CANNABINOIDS
There are 2 types of cannabinoids: endogenous and exogenous. The endogenous cannabinoids, called endocannabinoids, are naturally secreted by the body. This endogenous molecule has a neuromodulatory role. A dog or a cat produces its own cannabinoids such as anandamide or the pleasure molecule. Exogenous cannabinoids include phytocannabinoids such as THC and CBD, and pharmaceutical cannabinoids.
