ZAP Rolling Sheet Door Operators

ZAP is pleased to announce it's new line of dead axle and live axle rolling sheet door operators. The live axle model is the 815 SS and is designed to operate rolling sheet doors that have a 1" rotating shaft. Please contact your rolling sheet door manufacturer for the appropriate adaptor or email us at sales@zap-america.com . Their are two models of dead axle operators. They are designed to operate rolling sheet doors that have 1 5/16" shafts that do not rotate. The SD is designed for Rolling Sheet doors that mount on standard angle iron brackets. The SL is designed for Rolling Sheet doors that mount on both standard angle iron brackets or stamped steel brackets. It is designed also for limited side clearance applications and offers a zero side clearance. Series Two Commercial Controllers

Series Two Controllers have been added to the line of 800 and 8800 commercial operators. They offer a true soft start in the up and down cycles to allow the use of 800 and 8800 operators on standard lift and low headroom doors without the use of pushers springs, provided that the doors rolls forward when the shaft is turned. All the standard ZAP features are of course, included.

ZAP 8825 High Performance Operator

The ZAP Model 8825 High Power Operator is a door frame mount, commercial sectional overhead door operator designed to operate vertical lift, high lift, and standard lift, and low headroom sectional doors up to 525 sq ft with a weight restriction of 2500 lbs. The 8825 HP uses a tensioning wheel system to engage the drive belt. All units offer automatic reversing without a safety edge and associated coil cord or cord reel, timer to close and delay close programming, service due reminder and operations counter. It also incorporates an accessory light terminal allowing the integration of a dock light or an interior light. The dock light may be programmed to remain on while the door is open and off when closed. An interior light may be programmed to function on a 3 minute timer. Almost any accessory may added to the unit directly or by means of an additional accessory card. ZAP Radio controls may also be added as well as other manufacturers' radios. Three button controllers require an 871 radio interface module to interface other manufacturers' radio receivers. Almost any accessory may added to the unit directly or by means of an appropriate accessory card. A ZAP model 8030 battery backup may also be added.
